The life can be recovered at any time

Living under the shadow of an emotional storm represents standing before an abyss that only those experiencing it can explain. Experiencing this sensation for a long time turns our lives into a permanent torture that distances us from happiness, even to unimaginable levels.

Those immersed in this situation unconsciously block the fullness and beauty present in life itself. While others enjoy simple yet beautiful aspects such as a blue sky, a radiant sun, the singing of birds, the sound of water in a stream, and all the magic that God has bestowed upon us, those experiencing emotional storms generally do not have the opportunity to perceive them because their anguish, depression, anxiety, guilt, frustration, or desolation create a screen in front of their minds and eyes that only reproduces what their emotional pathology wants to show.

God did not create us to suffer; He does not have in His plans for us to live in the abyss of negative emotions, there is no macabre plan in creation, absolutely not. But then, why do some people have to face that hell in life? Why are there millions and millions of people with endless unhappiness that seems to have no end?

Life takes on complex nuances as our life unfolds from childhood and adolescence, and many humans accumulate moments, circumstances, experiences that are 'cancerous', and when they connect with each other, the explosion appears, which weighs down our lives if we do not handle this with the necessary care.

I knew the case of two brothers, both raised in the same circumstances, with the same treatment and opportunities that, although limited, were dignified. In their adulthood, one of them became a successful and wealthy entrepreneur, popular and influential, the example to follow for thousands of followers and admirers who saw in his image and life a mirror in which to reflect. The other brother, who was also the oldest, had a completely different life: labor failures, his family fell apart, he consumed drugs, could not establish lasting friendships, and everything was chaotic, to the point where he ended up living on the streets. It was not only the material aspect that did not work, but he also had to live with disillusionment and depression minute by minute, which made him a totally unhappy person, and everything he tried in his life, at some point ended up being destroyed. It is incredible to see this story because clearly at some point in their lives, the path they were traveling together presented a fork, and the older brother took the wrong path while the other continued on the path that would lead him to success. But the important thing in this story is not to find the year, the month, the day when both brothers faced this fork because it was not chance that each one took a certain path. The key is to be able to identify which aspects, throughout their lives, became 'cancerous cells' that built emotional damage that destroyed the life of the older brother, and what elements were seeds for the older brother to develop such emotional strength that led him to a life of success and pleasure.

Life is not over until a person dies; life can be recovered at any time if we feel that everything is wrong. We can regain meaning in our lives if we reset beliefs and fight those 'cells' that harm us. It is possible to turn our minds into a powerful weapon so that it quickly becomes our ally and thus make an absolute turn, finding the path to fulfillment and happiness. I have no doubt that there are two fundamental things to start this process: faith and the support of someone who understands what a person with strong emotional suffering feels. In faith, we find hope, strengthening our faith and guiding it correctly, we find a light that can guide us even in the darkest moments. In support, there are different phases that can be faced to progress, the first of them is someone who knows how to listen and understand what the person suffering from the emotional storm feels, lives, without recriminations or taboos; and from there, they can extend their hand so that together they find the right answers and embark on a luminous and fulfilling journey. This is possible because no matter how dark the situation, no matter how painful life is, no matter how complex the environment is, there is always, always a way out.
